New to the world of NV

Hi everyone, my name is Tom, I'm from South Wales UK and have recently purchased a 13 Reg NV200 in white.

I've not yet been driving two years but it's an absolute breeze to drive.

It's had a hard life as a builders van, but I got a good price for it. There a few dings here and there but nothing that bothers me too much.

I'm planning to build a micro camper / weekend van from my beast, it'll take a while, but I do love a project. Other things that need taking care of-

-Removal of ply lining and bulk head
-a good bloody clean
-Stitch on steering wheel cover
-Front seat swap (potentially Focus Zetec seats)
-Higher profile tyres (195 55 15)

Thabks for contributing to such a great forum. If any of you have any advise or experience if the above or just campers in geneal, I'd love to hear from you.

Drive safe people, pob hwyl!

Hi Tom,

ditto here; had my NV200 for a couple of weeks now and really pleased with it.
It will also slowly morph into a micro-camper but want everything removable so I still have a functioning van when I need it so happy to trade ideas as they develop.

I've done nothing yet but the provisional list is:

Wind deflectors on front doors
Glass in the two sliding doors
Swivel passenger seat
12v electrics in the back with second battery
Solar panel
Roof rack
Bike rack

Extremely interested in how easy your seat swap will be as I would love to stick something more comfortable in my nv, but can't find much info on anything that fits without too much work.

It seems that we're going for almost the same build! Although I'm only doing glass in the one door.

I'll also be adding a discrete roof vent/window to help with ventilation (feedback from a friend after he finished building his caddy micro camper, he says its well worth the vents)

I'll be sure to write a build thread for this. There is a post from an E-NV200 owner claiming to have fitted seats from a 2015 Focus Zetec S as a straight swap.

I'm holding out on the right seats, hoping for something a bit more exciting than black or grey, and with heated seats as an option to wire in at a later date.
