Hi Carid thanks for the welcome, apologies for late reply.
I’m slowly learning to navigate the forum (very slowly )
The plan with the Van was to customise to suit mine and my wife’s needs of a Van we can take on road trips day trips or stay in the odd night or two, or fully load with kit for a couple of weeks away when we go across to France camping/fishing.
We previously had a VW transporter that we converted with bed swivel seats etc and carpeted which once done and used decided that there wasn’t enough room on long trips for all the kit and to be able to stay in on the bed 😞 , so a choice had to be made to either go a lot bigger like a high top or smaller and just camp in the tent on long trips but having the benefit of plenty of space to load up with kit for the journey.
Also it is the perfect size when I go alone fishing for me to fit all my kit and be able to fit my fishing bedchair in to stay in so that is perfect.
The benefit is having a small everyday vehicle all other times.
I have done a few things already that I will start a thread and post pics of the van.
We are enjoying using it so far!
