Buzzing in the radio

For some reason the radio is buzzing with the revving of the motor (even with radio volume turned low). Bringing it by the dealership soon, I'll report back.

Love the car, rare black in Seattle.

I hate the fact that the visors are too loose. You have to have them all the way up or it falls to all the way down. Had Dealer replace them, but it's the same thing. Wrote to Nissan and was told that nothing could be done, so they closed my case. I think the visors need to be redesigned or have someway of keeping them up in the partial positions.

Mr

Here's a comment from aacouriers in Wales...This vehicle is now three years old and in that time the gearbox has been repaired three times and after just 39000 miles it had to have a brand new engine.
Not too bad I hear you say but ! Nissan made us wait while the warranty was checked out for the first gearbox repair and also the engine replacement because at first they were not prepared to do it due to the fact that my servicing was done by an independant garage that is MOT qualified.
The Nissan helpdesk should be called Nissan helpless desk because when you ask to speak to someone higher up the chain of command all you get is WE CANT DO THAT...The phrase "YOU CAN IN A NISSAN" SHOULD READ, YOU CAN`T IN A NISSAN.
In total this vehicle has been off the road for a little under two months having repairs and as said this is a three year old vehicle. One thing in it`s favour is that we have saved a fortune in diesel because it has spent a lot of it`s life on the back of an A A truck
After copious ammounts of hours on the phone to Nissan we have had to pay for the repairs ourselves for the last two gearboxes.
The first time fifth gear went and the second time the slave cylinder went inside the box and the third time the fourth gear came adrift.
The garage that repaired the box said that ideally a Renault Megane box is not up to the job in this vehicle..GEARBOX REPAIRS 1300.00
May we without prejudice and all statements being true advise other firms of our problems and think before buying a van.
Sorry Nissan ( AND MR JIM WRIGHT MANAGING DIRECTOR) THIS HAD TO BE SAID..
Needless to say, a Nissan will not be on our shopping list from now on and hopefully everyone will take notice of this as after looking into it we are not the first to have problems with Nissan there are hundreds more write ups on the internet.
Should you wish to contact us MR NISSAN, our number is on this site please feel free, we would welcome it...
I know this vehicle, and would like to add that it has also had two radiator repairs due to the lack of a protective grill allowing stones to damage the lower part of the radiator. It has also had seven windscreens due to stone chips, but that might just be bad luck.

Air intake pipe broken

We bought one NV200 in May this year and we already ordered another 2 more for company use.
It was so far so good.
However, somehow the air intake pipe attaching to engine body (throttle body ?) was cut off yesterday when my colleague drove the van and the van was towed away to a Nissan Service Centre.
I don't think it is major problem as everything is fine after the pipe replaced. However, what will be the possible problem caused this incident.
If anyone ever faced this problem, please share with us.

Well, my interior light keeps popping out on bumps. Minor, although exposes the cheapness of the product.

Had my nv200 for two years now and has 52,000 miles on it,had a few problems, central locking has failed twice which were repaired under warranty, had 3 windscreens changed.
Things i can fault are ; unstable in crosswinds
engine sounds like someone left a spanner in there.
Clutch judder on first 5 mins of driving then seems to go away
other than that a good van, good on fuel, pleased with it

My engine also sounded like that when I first got it. The clip holding the air intake pipe together had alot of play (not damaged, just a very loose fit). A zip tie around the pipe has almost eliminated any rattling. So much quieter. Might be worth a look.

After 36000 miles, reliability has still been 100%. Great little van

Nissan cover is total useless, owned the van for 8mths now and had the turbo go, then AGR valve then the engine.
Nissan covered the first two problems taking a two weeks each time. Asking for service record and every excuse to get out of it.
Finally they blamed a hair line crack on the sump and said that the big end bearing went because of:- at one point of the van's life it was run with no oil and this only came to the surface later, the van is less than 2 years old and only done 11000 miles. I only has done about 6000 miles and been service already twice.
I though I share my problem so you can be prepared.

If nissan don't have the Customer service or infrastructure to support comercial vehicles then they shouldn't produce them.
